Crazing is caused by the difference in shrinkage between the clay and the glaze covering it, and the color of the crazing may change as you use it.

If you want to slow the coloring of the crazing, sealing the pores will make the change gradual.
Soak in rice washing water and simmer for about 20 minutes.
