Yukigama

Born in 1982.
Graduated from Kobe Design University.

Began studying pottery in 2015, apprenticing under Shuji Kodama.
Established the "Yukigama" studio in 2017, and held a solo exhibition at Hanshin Department Store Umeda Main Store in 2021.
Production was temporarily suspended due to the pandemic but resumed in 2025.

Originally a cooking enthusiast, they were drawn to the world of pottery by their passion for collecting tableware.
Guided by the philosophy, "The food is the star; the tableware is like a frame," they create pieces that enhance daily dining.

Their work is characterized by organic plant and animal reliefs that evoke picture frames,
enhancing food and flowers while adding a subtle touch of specialness to the dining table.
