About crazing
The "Koibito white" has a glassy surface with a net-like crazing pattern.
The difference in shrinkage between the clay and the glaze covering it creates the crazing, which may gradually color and change with use.
Enjoy the evolving scenery that develops through use.
If you want to slow the coloring speed of the crazing, sealing the pores will make the change gradual.
Soak in rice washing water and heat, then simmer for about 20 minutes.
