Yoshida Pottery, originally from Kyoto Prefecture, now creates works in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Under the theme of "Utsukushiki" (Beautiful Vessels), their works prioritize visual beauty at first glance, while also carefully considering ease of use and pleasant mouthfeel.
The crackle (kannyu) that appears in the pottery is a natural pattern created by the difference in shrinkage rates between the clay and glaze during firing.
As the pieces are used, their expression deepens little by little, evolving into a unique landscape for each user.
