About Crazing (Kannyu)
Koibito White features a mesh-like pattern called kannyu (crazing) on its glassy surface.
This is created by the difference in shrinkage between the clay and the glaze covering it, and over time, the crazing may absorb color and change.
Please enjoy the evolving appearance as you use it.
If you wish to slow down the coloring of the crazing, you can do so by pre-treating it (medome).
Soak it in rice water, bring it to a boil, and simmer for about 20 minutes.
