Spreading quietly, little by little.
"Litmus" is a bangle inspired by the lichen that covers the ground.
Moss and lichen give a very quiet impression.
Without standing out or making a sound, they slowly spread across the earth.
Their appearance also resembles a scab, covering wounded earth and healing it over time.
We captured this tranquility and the slow yet certain transformation of life in metal.
The name comes from "litmus moss," a type of lichen.
We also incorporated the image of "changing color" associated with the word litmus, creating a form whose expression changes over time as it ages.
Time flows even within metal, which appears to be still.
This bangle quietly continues to exist, gradually changing its expression along with the wearer.

I create small supporting characters who quietly uphold the beauty and deliciousness of the table.
My journey into cutlery making began when my wife, who loves cooking, collected beautiful tableware and cutlery. Wanting to create moments that would make her happy and to offer her beautiful tea times, I began making cutlery myself.
Since 2020, I have been working as a cutlery artist, developing a style based on the concept of “Spoon You Nurture,” using materials such as brass and nickel silver that enhance the enjoyment of aging over time.
Today, I see cutlery as a canvas, creating new works by distilling scenes and moments I find beautiful into simple forms.

Uses materials that age easily, such as brass, nickel silver, and silver. A surface protective agent is applied to glossy pieces. Pieces with an antique finish are left in their natural state so you can enjoy the material's texture.
If tarnishing or rust is a concern, gently polish with a precious-metal cloth.
If moisture adheres, wipe thoroughly before storing.
Each piece is handmade, so lengths and shapes may vary. Please note that minor scratches may be part of the design, as pieces are intentionally finished with an aged, worn texture.
