The Designs Artists Long to Bring to Life

Our bangle exhibition, “My Contours,” is currently underway.

Thank you so much to everyone who has come to visit us at the shop.

After reading the story Hiro @hirokashihara, the owner of Konohino Shop, shared about Kumugi @kumugi__, I found myself feeling deeply moved.

I had watched Kumugi work on her pieces day after day—thinking, struggling, making mistakes, and trying again with all her heart.

There was a design she wanted to bring to life,
but things didn’t always come together as easily as she had hoped.

Perhaps that is the true difficulty of making something:
turning the image you carry in your mind into something you can actually hold in your hands.

Hiro, too, often talks with us about the designs and concepts for his new works, and says things like,
“Next, I’d love to make something like this.”

The pieces created with the thoughts and dreams of each artist,
and the pieces born from ideas imagined by our staff.

We hope you’ll take your time and discover them for yourself at the shop.
