Her work is defined by soft gradations of grey and a subtle sense of movement that lingers within each piece.

The contours are not overly sharp, and even the slightest distortions are intentionally embraced, creating vessels that hold a quiet tension and refined elegance.

While they carry the atmosphere of a distant place, they settle gently into everyday life.

With each use, their depth gradually unfolds.

Beautiful even when simply displayed, yet completed through use.

They are pieces that seem to fill a space, simply by being there.

Works by Masae Kamiue will be available in our shop from April 17 (Fri) as part of Konohino’s 2nd anniversary exhibition,

“Opening Spring.”
