When exposed to light, it quietly exudes a luster.
Deep within it lies a deep sense of calm, as if time has passed...
When you think of Kashihara Hiro's cutlery, many people probably think of a worn, antique-like texture.
This new finish is a beautiful blend of texture and luster.
The "Rouille" series has arrived, a finish that combines calmness and brilliance, truly representative of Hiro Kashihara's work.
Online sales are scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM on Saturday, March 14th [Tokyo].
We plan to publish the work page in advance.
The types and prices of the items available for sale will be listed on the product page, so please look forward to their release.

Below is an explanation of the work from Hiro Kashihara.
This series combines an aged texture with a beautiful luster and a half-decayed, half-shiny finish.
The "decayed color" is a condensed expression of the time I have spent on the cutlery, and the "dull shine" that develops with the user. I named the dull color "Rouille" because it is born at the boundary where two different times overlap, like the shoreline.
When you use it, light appears, and when you take it away, it becomes cloudy. In this fluctuation, its appearance quietly changes. I feel that this intermediate state creates a space to accept change.
Please come and experience the balance we have created by returning to our roots.
