A landscape, a flavor — small moments encountered along the way in everyday life.
In A Little Detour in Our Days, we share quiet fragments from our staff’s days off.A nearby shop, a favorite corner of town, sometimes a place a little farther away.
If we can gently pass along the time spent there — the air, the feeling, the subtle stirrings of the heart — we would be so happy.

One quiet afternoon on my day off, I took a small detour to visit a place I had long been curious about: coyomi. The sweets, made primarily with organic ingredients and as safe and natural as possible, carried a gentle presence — modest, yet quietly unforgettable. The sweetness was restrained, each bite unfolding slowly and softly across the palate. There was a kindness to the flavors, something that seemed to settle effortlessly into the body, allowing my shoulders to relax without even noticing.

I chose a seat by the window and lingered over tea, gazing out at the view beyond the glass. Bathed in tender afternoon light, the cake before me felt just a little more special than usual.

The tableware and cups — charming yet simple — reflected the spirit of the shop itself. They did not insist on attention, yet held a quiet, confident presence, as though they would gently accompany one’s daily life.

In the midst of hurried days, there is something precious about pausing, even briefly.Perhaps it is because of such moments that we find the strength to begin again tomorrow.Another day off, now softly etched into memory.May a small margin of calm find its way into your days as well.
