Concept of the work
- Spoon You Nurture -
This is not just a spoon — this is a companion.
Each piece is handcrafted and designed to evolve with your hands, meals, and time.
Like leather, they grow richer, deeper, and more personal the more you use them.
I believe that tools should not only serve — they should live, grow, and form a bond with their owner.
Let your spoon tell your story.

The beauty of ever-changing expressions
I see the scratches, stains and uneven colouring of my cutlery as characterful and consider them a good thing.
Perfection and without a single scratch is a wonderful thing, but cutlery is ultimately a tool for daily life. As you use it, scratches will inevitably appear and the surface will gradually become dull.
If an item is most beautiful when it is free of scratches, then it would seem that its value decreases as you use it.
What is the creation of a product that the user grows attached to and that increases in value as they use it? After much thought, we arrived at the idea of "Cutlery that Grows", a piece that is based on the premise of aging.

Using it makes it into a work of art
It is passed down from artist to user, and with daily use it gradually ages and takes on a texture that is unique to that individual.
As the tools tarnish, fade, and get scratched, and as they acquire more and more stains that remind the user of something memorable, such as, "Oh, that's a stain from when I ate that," they become treasured items that the user finds hard to part with, and so begins a life with them.
Please use your hands to create a one-of-a-kind piece of work.

The thoughts behind the design
Forks, spoons and chopsticks are tools used to bring food directly to the mouth.
I treat tools made for the act of living and eating as canvases, and by incorporating things that I myself find beautiful, I hopes to express the idea that there are irreplaceable things hidden in the mundane aspects of our everyday lives.

President and CEO, Tsuzukisha Co., Ltd.
Born in Higashikagawa City, Kagawa Prefecture in 1984
Graduated from Kagawa University Graduate School of Education
My grandparents, who lived with me, ran a handicraft glove manufacturing business, and I spent my childhood in a small fishing town in the Setouchi, close to craftsmanship and nature.
In my late teens, I taught myself how to make silver accessories and leather products, and continued making handmade items while working for a regular company.
What prompted me to start making cutlery was that my wife was collecting beautiful tableware and cutlery. As I looked at the various pieces, I gradually became attracted to their function and beauty, and one day, I made a piece as a gift for my wife, which led to my start in making cutlery.
Although self-taught, I began creating works in earnest in 2020. In 2021, I launched "Konohino Doguten" to sell my own works, and in July 2022, I incorporated and established Atelier Leton LLC. In May 2025, I reorganized as Tsuzukisha Co., Ltd., and named my own atelier “Tsuzukisaji”, seeking to revitalize metalwork in my hometown of Kagawa.
I currently have an atelier in Kinashicho, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, and delivers my works to customers both in Japan and abroad, as well as shops, galleries, restaurants, and cafes.
