This work was created for the special exhibition "Sixteenth Hour Cafe" held at our store in July 2024.
It was created based on the design of the Jeté series by cutlery artist Hiro Kashihara, who is also the owner of our store.
At the same time, Hiro Kashihara has created a new ladle that we hope you will use in conjunction with this compote.
The work was originally created when Mizutani and Kashihara met and hit it off, with Mizutani inspired by Kashihara's designs and Kashihara inspired by an episode of Mizutani often eating fruit punch with his child, leading them to decide to create a new work together.
This is a product that we hope you will enjoy using together with Kashihara's cutlery pieces.
