The motif is the artist's memories of his daughter.
He combines his favorite elements of light, art, and science to create works that resemble brushes or writing brushes.
The handle is straight like shining light and shaped like a crystal or teardrop, capturing memories of my daughter.
In jewellery terms, the smaller diamonds that surround the main gemstone are called melee diamonds.
I hope that these memories and the cutlery that embodies them will become little jewels that will add color to my daughter's life and bring out the best in her as the main character.
Works by cutlery artist Hiro Kashihara
Hiro Kashihara's cutlery has a unique surface finish that gives it an antique, classic look as if it has been well-used.
The contrast with the soft gold color of the brass, which gradually becomes visible with each use, adds a shabby chic impression to the table.
The appeal of brass as a material
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, and is characterized by its unique, soft color.
An oxide film easily forms on the surface, and its appearance will gradually change with daily use.
One of the charms of this product is that the texture of each piece will vary depending on what you normally eat, how you wash it, how you store it, and each person's environment.
Please enjoy your own unique aging experience.
How to care for brass tableware
Brass is a metal that is weak against moisture and acid and its surface color easily changes.
To prevent food or moisture from remaining on the dishes, rinse them immediately after use. Please be especially careful when using this product with citrus fruits, highly acidic foods, or foods that may discolor metals, such as tea.
Also, to dry quickly, stand it up or wipe off any moisture with a cloth (soft cloth) before storing it.
