Jeté - | Brass version of mini knife is here
A jeté is a ballet jump in which a ballet dancer kicks their leg sideways.
We have incorporated this delicate, tense, and light, dynamic feeling into the simple shapes of the cutlery.
This is a series that is impressive for its unique design, with striking details of outward curves and a sharp silhouette that creates a unique texture. This is a small mini knife that can be used as a tea or butter knife.
While maintaining the refined appearance of the Jeté, we have adjusted the length and width slightly more than a dinner knife to create a small yet easy-to-use size.
It has a classic design that resembles a true antique, but also has a modern, simple and sharp impression.
The surface of the nickel silver material is burned to give it a unique, classical feel.
This cutlery is different from silverware or stainless steel, and has a beautiful contrast between its deep black, slightly reddish aging and the shining silver edges.
Hiro Kashihara This mini knife from the Jeté series features a simple yet detailed design.
Works by cutlery artist Hiro Kashihara
Hiro Kashihara's cutlery has a unique surface finish that gives it an antique, classic look as if it has been well-used.
The contrast with the soft gold color of the brass, which gradually becomes visible with each use, adds a shabby chic impression to the table.
The appeal of nickel silver
Western silver is an alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc, and is characterized by its unique, soft color.
Also known as German silver, German silver, or nickel silver, German silverware, which is made of German silver plated with silver, was once widely used in Europe instead of pure silver tableware.
It was created as a substitute at a time when pure silver was in short supply, and it is said that this was the catalyst for silver tableware, which had previously been reserved for aristocrats, becoming widely available to the upper class.
Hiro Kashihara's works are not silver plated, but instead focus on the burnt color and aging of the nickel silver itself.
An oxide film easily forms on the surface, and its appearance will gradually change with daily use.
One of the charms of this product is that the texture of each piece will vary depending on what you normally eat, how you wash it, how you store it, and each person's environment.
Please enjoy your own unique aging experience.

To prevent food or moisture from remaining on the dishes, rinse them immediately after use. Please be especially careful when using this product with citrus fruits, highly acidic foods, or foods that may discolor metals, such as tea.
Also, to dry quickly, stand it up or wipe off any moisture with a cloth (soft cloth) before storing it.

- Moisture can cause rust and cloudiness. After washing, drain thoroughly before storing. Be especially careful when using with citrus fruits, highly acidic foods, or foods that discolor metals, such as tea. Moisture in the air can also cause the glass to cloud over. If you are concerned about this, polish it with a cloth from time to time.
- Each piece is made by hand. There may be individual differences in length and shape. We have also intentionally given each piece an aged, well-used look. Please be aware that there may be small scratches due to the design.
- Do not use in dishwashers, ovens or microwaves.
- The tips of the forks and knives are very sharp, so please be careful when handling them.
- Depending on the tableware you use, rubbing it too hard may cause scratches, so please be careful when using it.
- There is a risk of causing metal allergies. If any abnormalities occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
