Jeté - | Click here for the German silver version of the mini knife
A jeté is a ballet jump in which a ballet dancer kicks their leg sideways.
We have incorporated this delicate, tense, and light, dynamic feeling into the simple shapes of the cutlery.
This small mini knife is from an impressive series of unique designs, with striking details such as outward curves and a well-defined silhouette that create a unique texture. It is a small mini knife that can be used for tea or as a butter knife.
While maintaining the refined appearance of the Jeté, we have adjusted the length and width slightly more than a dinner knife to create a small yet easy-to-use size.
It has a classic design that resembles a true antique, but also has a modern, simple and sharp impression.
Although the handle is delicate, it is thick and sturdy enough to withstand the pressure placed on it when eating.
Hiro Kashihara This mini knife from the Jeté series features a simple yet detailed design.
Works by cutlery artist Hiro Kashihara
Hiro Kashihara's cutlery has a unique surface finish that gives it an antique, classic look as if it has been well-used.
The contrast with the soft gold color of the brass, which gradually becomes visible with each use, adds a shabby chic impression to the table.
The appeal of brass as a material
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, and is characterized by its unique, soft color.
An oxide film easily forms on the surface, and its appearance will gradually change with daily use.
One of the charms of this product is that the texture of each piece will vary depending on what you normally eat, how you wash it, how you store it, and each person's environment.
Please enjoy your own unique aging experience.
How to care for brass tableware
Brass is a metal that is weak against moisture and acid and its surface color easily changes.
To prevent food or moisture from remaining on the dishes, rinse them immediately after use. Please be especially careful when using this product with citrus fruits, highly acidic foods, or foods that may discolor metals, such as tea.
Also, to dry quickly, stand it up or wipe off any moisture with a cloth (soft cloth) before storing it.

Important points to note
- Moisture can cause rust and tarnish, so be sure to drain the water thoroughly after washing before storing. Please be especially careful when using with citrus fruits, highly acidic foods, or foods that discolor metals, such as black tea. Moisture in the air can cause the glass to gradually cloud over. If this bothers you, polish it with a cloth from time to time.
- Each piece is made by hand. There may be individual differences in length and shape. We have also intentionally given each piece an aged, well-used look. Please be aware that there may be small scratches due to the design.
- Do not use in dishwashers, ovens or microwaves.
- The tips of the forks and knives are very sharp, so please be careful when handling them.
- Depending on the tableware you use, rubbing it too hard may cause scratches, so please be careful when using it.
- There is a risk of causing metal allergies. If any abnormalities occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
